Pint Size Review: Two Thumbs Up!


Bundle of Leeks – Boil until tender, puree

One apple – I used a mild tasting golden delicious – Boil, peel and cut, puree

Cauliflower – Boil until tender, puree

Whole Wheat Pizza Dough

Marina with Burgandy Wine

Shredded Mozzarella  Cheese

Dash of Oregano

  1. Combine the puree of leeks, apple, and cauliflower.
  2. Then mix the puree with the sauce – (masking the color difference for my little detectives)!
  3. Top with cheese, dash of oregano, and voila! The entire pizza was gone with no leftovers! As per the usual around here. But I felt good knowing I squeezed some vegetables in.

PS- Mom is a cheater! In a hurry? Always!

Save yourself time and buy a pouch of the pre-made puree.
