Cheese Puff Pastry

My kids are obsessed with cheese lately. That’s why these tiny little puffs are filled with cheesy goodness. They go great as a little after-school snack or pre-dinner appetizer for your hungry pint-size eaters.


1 1/2 cup of flour

2 tsp. baking powder

8 oz. of sharp cheddar cheese (grated) – Any cheese that you like will do the trick!

2 tsp. salt

2 tsp. sugar

4 Tbsp. salted butter

1 cup of heavy cream (I used half&half because that’s all that we had at home! We are always fully stocked for coffee supplies.)


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine ingredients into a bowl and mix until it creates a well formed dough. Grab a shallow baking pan and parchment paper. Flatten the dough evenly – about 1/2 inch thick. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown or flaking on the top. Cut into squares and serve warm!
